My Life in Books Tag

I usually do my tags on Tag Thursday but this one is really cool so it can have it’s own post. Thanks to Luminosity Library for tagging me in this cool post.

Find a book for each letter of your name:

B: Break the Fall by Jennifer Iacopelli

E: Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng

C: Courting Darkness by Robin LaFevers

C: Clap When You Land by Elizabeth Acevedo

A: A Very Large Expanse of Sea by Tahereh Mafi

Pick a book set in your city/country:

One of my favourite books set in the UK is Meat Market by Juno Dawson

Pick a book that represents a destination that you would love to travel to:

I’d love to go to California some day – particularly to the national parks.

Pick a book with your favourite colour on the cover:

My favourite colour is red! (like this dark red on the cover of The Empire of Gold – I love wearing it)

Which book do you have the fondest memory of?

Double Act was one of the first books I remember reading – I actually met Jacqueline Wilson in 2012 and we talked about this book. She asked me if I preferred Ruby or Garnet and when I said Ruby she seemed surprised. I think Ruby represented the confidence I wished I had.

Which book did you have the most difficulty reading?

The Poppy War is one of the best books I have ever read but it is not an easy read as it’s really dark.

Which book on your TBR will give you the biggest sense of accomplishment when you finish it?

I have to go with the same as Bertie…Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell is huge!

I tag:

The Book Berrie | Paragraphs and Pages | Linaria’s Library | Esoteric Elixir | Janel Allison | Whispering Stories | Colorful Bibliophile | Windows to Worlds | Fictionally Crazy | The Reading Addict | HDs Reading Life

No pressure to take part of course!
